That’s right, if you have a job, a gig, something that could be part-time, it could be what you do full time there are a lot of issues that you want to know about. And guess what? There’s an event coming up next week that just might answer those questions. Would you like to find out more about it? We’re delighted to have Marie Rachelle, Organizer and Executive Director of Freelancers Buffalo & Beyond as our guest this week. In addition to being the Founder of Convergence Coworking, Hamburg New York’s first Coworking Space, she was voted Most Aspirational Freelancer at the 2019 The Freelance Conference. In the show’s first segment, Rachelle tells us about how she was raised on a farm in Western New York by entrepreneurial parents, and their inspiration never left her. She also explains the details about her group and its simultaneous Western New York Freelancers events going on next week in Buffalo, Rochester, and Erie, Pennsylvania.

In the second half of the show, Rachelle gets into the nitty-gritty of freelancer questions. What’s hot? What’s not? What are the pleasant surprises? How does independent freelancing not only benefit you but also the community in which you live? Her bottom line: “Most of us came from working for someone else and we don’t want to go back there.”

Our guest happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had.
