Project Civica’s Common Sense Contract With New York
Some say it forever changed America in 1994. Can the same effort make a difference in New York State? Click the link below for this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report to discover a new effort from Project Civica.
Project Civica President Kim Hermance and Director of Policial Affairs Steve Gillan join us this week as we explore their Common Sense Contract with New York. They begin by telling us a little bit about Project Civica, how it came about, and what it seeks to accomplish. They explain the difference between a poll inspector (a position the government pays you to do) and a poll watcher (a volunteer position)
In the show’s second half, the two explain in great detail the seven points of the Common Sense Contract with New York. They conclude by showing you what they intend to do with this contract and how you can participate if you’d like.
Our guests happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had. Would you like to be a live audience member so you can ask our guests questions?
