Congressman-Elect Joe Sempolinski Explains An Everyday Man’s Path To Capitol Hill

What’s it like to be an ordinary guy running for Congress… and win? Click the link below to find out on this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report:

A year ago, Joe Sempolinski was just a mild-mannered district office manager for Congressman Tom Reed. Today he’s days away from being sworn in as Reed’s successor in New York State’s 23rd Congressional District. How did he get from then to now? Congressman-Elect Sempolinski explains his journey in the first half of today’s show. He also tells us how the district has been split up in redistricting and what counties are going where.

In the show’s second half, Sempolinski talks about what he needs to do on Day One of his new job and what he expects to do in the few short months he has left in his term. What happens in January? He reveals it all by the end of the show.

Our guest happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had.
