Dinosaurs Return to Rochester (And Other Fun Facts)

Long before man walked the earth, strange creatures roamed the planet… and they’re making a return appearance here in Western New York in the city of Rochester in a couple of weeks. What’s this all about? Click the link below for this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report because we’re going to be talking to a Park Ranger all about this and other fun facts.

As the show opens, Marty Hoffman, Park Ranger for the traveling educational and interactive dinosaur exhibit Jurassic Quest, tells us how he became a dinosaur expert. He also gives us a behind-the-scenes peak at how the show is set up and who else works in it.

In the second half of the show, Hoffman leads us on an exploration of the actual exhibit, including the activities offered for both parents and kids. Along the way, he explains what is and isn’t a dinosaur and how we lost, and then found, the Brontosaurus.

Our guest happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had.
