Larry Sharpe, Candidate for Governor on This Week’s State of Greater Western New York Report – April 7, 2022
If you were Governor of New York, what would you do to improve the ability of the Greater Western New York Region to live life the way it wants to? Today’s guest is running for Governor of New York State and he’s going to be answering your questions and maybe a few of mine as he tells us how he envisions the future of New York State. What will you think of his plan? Click the video below and you might just discover something that excites you.
In the first half of today’s show, Larry Sharpe, Libertarian Candidate for Governor tells us a little bit about himself and how he got interested in politics. He then explores how New York State has changed since he ran four years ago and how these changes may make it more difficult for anyone who’s not a political insider to have a say in how they live their lives.
In the show’s next segment, Sharpe gets into the nitty-gritty of several issues, including, autonomy for Western New York, the urban vs. rural divide, school mandates, and the Climate Act, just to name a few. Throughout it all, he emphasizes that we live in a big state with a diverse and variegated population where “one-size-fits-all” isn’t the solution, it’s the problem.
Our guest happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had.
