Marly Hornik: NY Citizen Audit Passes Peer Review And Gets Published

NY Citizens Audit provides an exciting update to their research. How did New York State respond when they found out? Click the link below for this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report and discover why there’s a little bit of Dutch inside all of us.

Marly Hornik, director of NY Citizens Audit, starts off the show by summarizing what the group has accomplished and what the early response was. While the group was bolstered by positive comments, there was a big obstacle when it came to New York State. Certain State officials refused to recognize the validity of the audit, and that presented a roadblock of sorts.

In the second half of the show, Hornik explains how the group obtained peer-reviewed approval of its work and what it has meant to get that level of independent validity. How did the State respond when that happened? It is best if you hear the answer directly from her.

Our guest happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had.
