Addiction To Albany Cash Hinders Local School Board Quest For Autonomy

This has been hailed as one of the best events we have hosted since beginning our series of Greater Western New York (Virtual) Town Hall Meetings. Want to experience for yourself what made it so special? Click the link below to find out on this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report:

This week our guests are Mark Kless, (Pioneer District School Board in Cattaraugus County); Jim Michalek, (Iroquois District School Board in Erie County); and, Mark Buonaugurio, (Greece District School Board in Monroe County). This episode is a replay of the Summer 2022 Greater Western New York Town Hall meeting on August 3rd beginning at 7:30 pm.

In the first half of the show, all three of these guests offered keynotes to start the Town Hall. You’ll immediately see the theme of inclusiveness and transparency rise to importance in their talks.

In the second half of the show, we opened up a lively panel discussion where the guests exposed the real problem facing school boards and then told exactly what citizens can do about it. Incidentally, they emphasized the importance of citizens in this process.

All our guests happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had. Would you like to be a member of our live audience so you can ask our guests questions? Click here to join the growing number of members who share your feelings on StateOf.GreaterWesternNewYork.com because then we can automatically send you the link to watch our shows live.
