Seneca Falls and “It’s A Wonderful Life”

It’s a classic Christmas movie that tells us as much about the Greater Western New York Region as it does about humanity. Was Bedford Falls Inspired By Seneca Falls? Click the link below for this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report to learn about the smoking gun that answers the question with a big fat “Yes!”

[Pardon the audio echo of the host.] Anwei Law of the It’s A Wonderful Life Museum in Seneca Falls joins us once again. She gives us an update on the museum, the grant it received from New York State, the current renovation project, and the temporary location where the museum has moved to.

In the second portion of the show, Law lays out the facts and circumstances that reveal the intersection between the fictional Bedford Falls and the real Seneca Falls.

Our guest happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had.
