Live From The 2022 Erie County Fair!

How has Covid changed America’s Fair? And what’s new from the family that invented the hamburger? Click the link below to find out on this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report:

This week’s episode comes to you live from the 2022 Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY.

Starting things off, Erie County Fair CEO Jessica Underberg steps into the box and answers several questions about what’s this year, what might stay as a result of Covid, and a few of her favorite things about the Fair. In addition, she also reveals the most asked question she gets from Fair-goers.

In the second have of the show we have a doubleheader. John Menches, Great Grandson Charles Menches (who with his brother Frank sold the first hamburger ever at the 1885 Erie County Fair) and his niece Dani Kimble, talk about their reaction to being at the place where it all started. Dani then lets us know about some future ventures the family is taking to bring their burger’s legacy into Web 3.0.

Our guests happily answered questions from the live audience. In fact, these are probably some of the same questions you had.
